Top 10 Tallest Buildings in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia has had a high architectural development in recent years, its development has begun early 2000 with the inauguration of the Al Faisaliyah Center, which counts with a height of 266.9 m (876 ft) and is the sixth tallest building of this country. S.A also houses the third tallest building in the world, the Makkah Royal Clock Tower, located in Mecca’s district.

I must also mention that in this country is located the building under construction ‘Jeddah Tower‘, a megatall skyscraper that is estimated to be 1,000 meters (3,281 ft) tall and it’ll become the new tallest building in the world.

Before starting the post we have to know the Abraj Al Bait complex, since it has 5 different positions in this list.

Abraj Al Bait (Arabic: ابراج البيت‎) is a government-owned complex located in Mecca. This complex consists of 7 skyscrapers hotels of which all are among the 10 tallest in the country, nonetheless there are two pairs that share the same height and therefore the same position, this is the case of the tenth and ninth position of the list.

10. Abraj Al Bait Safa Tower and Abraj Al Bait Marwah Tower

Abraj Al Bait Safa Tower and Abraj Al Bait Marwah Tower are 46-storey , 232 m (761 ft) tall skyscrapers located in the Abraj Al Bait complex in Mecca. Abraj Al Bait Safa was completed in 2007 and Abraj Al Bait Marwah was completed the next year.

9. Abraj Al Bait Qibla Tower and Abraj Al Bait Maqam Tower

It is currently the third tallest skyscraper in Saudi Arabia and the third tallest in the world with a hole.
